Oella
Oella, founded in 1808 by the Union Manufacturing Company, is an old mill town and a historic area on the National Register of Historic Places. The homes and buildings in Oella date back to the 1800s, and the original village that housed mill employees and a 19th-century church. It’s also home to the Benjamin Banneker Historical Park, which made our recent list of the best things to do in Catonsville.

Westchester
Westchester is a tight-knit, close community in Catonsville just south of Baltimore National Pike. It’s where you’ll find Colonial Gardens and adjacent to the city’s Walmart, as well as Catonsville Middle School. There are a handful of subdivisions within Westchester. Th entire Catonsville area is known for its great weather, so it’s a wonderful place to enjoy all four seasons.

Westview Park
Westview Park is known for its quiet, tree-lined streets and mid-sized, reasonably priced homes. This well-established community is conveniently located near the junction of I-695 and I-70, and it’s where you’ll find the Westview Mall and a handful of hotels along the Beltway.

Westowne
Westowne, just north of Academy Heights, sits along the Baltimore National Pike and runs to Academy Road and Edmondson Avenue. The renowned Mt. De Sales Academy, Planet Fitness and Dunkin’ Donuts are all located in Westowne (but we won’t tell you whether we prefer Planet Fitness or Dunkin’ Donuts – just know that we always welcome large, rectangular orange-and-white boxes in our office if you’re so inclined).

Academy Heights
Academy Heights is a beautiful community in Catonsville with a rich history. This neighborhood comprises hundreds of neo-Colonial-style rowhouses built in the early and mid-20th century. The Academy Heights Civic Association often plans community events and maintains the area, as well.

Windwood
Windwood, located in the southern part of Catonsville, reaches its boundary at the Patapsco Valley State Park. Some of the homes in Windwood are historic, dating back to the early 1900s, but there are newer homes available as well.

Woodbridge Valley
Woodbridge Valley, a beautiful neighborhood in Catonsville, comprises a total of 850 homes. The area was founded and incorporated in 1968 because of its close proximity to the city, but it’s been able to maintain its quiet, community feel over the years. Close to churches, shopping facilities, doctor’s offices and other local amenities, Woodbridge Valley has a friendly atmosphere – and it even features a community pool where local residents enjoy the summer months.

Adil Meadows
Adil Meadows is a Catonsville neighborhood nestled between the Baltimore National Pike, I-695 and I-70. It’s adjacent to Woodbridge Valley and Westerlee, and the homes in this charming community are typically affordable. You’ll find newer construction and well-established homes in Adil Meadows, and it’s very close to Woodbridge Elementary School and Western Hills Community Park. It’s a short drive to The Home Depot and Staples, as well as all the restaurants and other amenities located just off the freeway.

Westerlee
Westerlee, a neighborhood in Catonsville, features a beautiful range of reasonably priced homes.
